The Freedom High School Website For Student Scientific Research
This site has been created to help students work together and utilize technology to produce professional class projects.

Current Research: The life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly. Freedom High School is collaborating with Monarch Watch in an experiment to study the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly in space. Will microgravity have any affect on the life cycle of the monarch? Students will have an opportunity to follow the development of the caterpillars at Freedom and compare it to the development of the caterpillars on the Internation Space Station. Although we lost three of our four rearing chamber inhabitants, the fourth chamber caterpillars appear to be thriving.
